Founded: 2020

This informal group has twice a month meetings online (via Zoom). Like in-person user group meetings, we have guests, talk about our projects and a wide array of computing topics.

This group has its origins in the Yahoo TS 2068 Group, which migrated to groups.io when Yahoo Groups shut down.

Sign up for a email list. We’re usually on topic and there are lots of other smart and fun folks. Even though it’s named for the 2068, we cover all the Timex/Sinclair computers and even the QL and Z88.

We discussed shared community history and technical knowledge. We talked about the evolution of user groups from 1980s, who often had printed newsletters (CATS, Update, Chicago-area publications), through Yahoo groups to current online forums.
