SINCUS Exchange Tape 104

Date: 198x
Type: Cassette
Platform(s): TS 2068

A further library tape from the Sinclair Computer Users Society (SINCUS) of Johnson City, New York, following Exchange Tapes 101, 102 and 103. It mixes music, graphics, printer utilities, games and home programs, many by SINCUS members such as John Colonna.

No original cassette of tape 104 has turned up. Its programs survive on an Oliger (JLO SAFE) disk labelled “Sincus 103-4”, where files 1–16 are the rest of tape 103 and files 17–99 are this tape. The download has one TAP per program in the disk’s order, each converted for tape: the disk LOAD /, SAVE / and VERIFY / commands became tape commands, the JLO printer set-up lines (LET /p=…: POKE 23324,10) became REMs and COPY / became COPY. The author’s street address was removed from a REM in bluedanube, and the saved variables of billboard and altchrldr (a leftover message and a disk catalogue) were cleared. Every program was loaded and run on a stock TS2068 in ZEsarUX.
