Residential demand controller field test

A microprocessor based demand controller for use in residential and small commercial buildings is discussed. In order to verify the performance of the controller, a field test is being conducted in four residences. The controller operates by receiving demand pulses from the utility meter and calculating every minute a 15-minute billing demand (sliding window demand).

Computed Neutron Tomography from Real-Time Radiographic Images

Neutron tomography was performed using a parallel neutron beam geometry. The objects to be imaged were mounted on a stepping motor controlled by a Timex Sinclair 1000 microprocessor. The Sinclair 1000 was used to step the object through a predetermined set of angles while projection data was taken from real-time radiographs using the neutron imaging
