Synchro-Sette January 1984

Cassette to accompany the January 1984 issue of Synchro-Sette.

The label reads “Subscription tape for January/84, both sides”. The tape opens with a menu program, LOADER, which lists the seven programs that follow. A digit cursor steps down the list, and pressing a key from 1 to 7 loads the chosen program by name.

• Respell: search-and-replace on a typed message.
• Bumper: steer a moving marker to collect asterisks without hitting the wall.
• Burt’s Game: a baccarat-style card game played for stakes against the computer.
• Elecform: seven electrical formulas, including Ohm’s law, reactance, impedance and power.
• Fifteen: the sliding fifteen puzzle, with straight, reversed and shuffled starts.
• Infofile: a keyword-searchable file of magazine notes, with editing, printing and tape save.
• Bulletin: the Synchro-Sette bulletin board, with scrolling news for January 1984.
