Displays a slide show of eight full-screen pictures, following the original Slide Show. Some of the screens were digitized with the VIDEOFACE video digitizer and some came from CompuServe. The pictures and the viewer that shows them are stored together in one 32111-byte machine-code block. With the screens packed this tightly, they were probably compressed with Eric Boisvert’s Screen Compactor from the same issue.
Slide Show II, by Eric Boisvert, was published on the Fall 1988 issue of Byte Power, a Canadian tape magazine for the TS2068. The magazine listed it as an Entertainment program with the loading name SLIDE II.
Program Analysis
The BASIC part is a four-line loader. It autostarts at line 9998, which runs LOAD ""CODE and then RUN. Line 10 sets INK, PAPER and BORDER to black, runs CLEAR 33424 and starts the code with PRINT USR 33425. The code block fills memory from 33425 to the top of RAM at 65535. Line 5 checks the byte at 23681 and, if it is zero, lists line 9999 and stops. Line 9999 holds the SAVE commands for both blocks.
