Loads two machine code blocks, START and MAIN, that change keyword entry so that every keyword is typed out in full, letter by letter, instead of being entered with a single key in K mode. The loader runs START with RANDOMIZE USR 23300, loads MAIN, then lists itself with a flashing “hit enter” prompt. Its REM says lines 1 to 3 can be deleted once it has run.
This program is on side B of the Long Island Sinclair Timex (LIST) user group library tape #3.5, saved as KEYWORD68 followed by its CODE files START (51 bytes) and MAIN (224 bytes).
Program Analysis
Program Structure
Line 1 is the explanatory REM. Line 2 loads START, calls it at 23300 and loads MAIN. Line 3 clears the screen and lists the program. Nothing in the BASIC shows how the code works.
