- YV5ABE — Rolando is a new ham with 720A a T/S 1000. He has an ICOM and a 40 m dipole.
- W4SYF –Al is 75 and operates a solar station which includes a TS 1000. He sent us a nice beam pointing program.
- K4UBR — Jerry has both a ZX81 and a T/S 1000. He used to get QZX when K2MI was publishing it. He says he has a RTTY program which we hope to get him to share with the rest of you.
- KP4MD — Charles is a navy physician in Puerto Rico. He has been a ham for 13 years and has written a number of programs for his ZX81, which we hope to share with you
- HP1AC — Cam has just installed a Suntronics Keyboard which is working fine. He also had a suggestion for saving postage on overseas mailing which we will look into.
- K6SWN — Darwin started out with a 2k Micro-Ace and now has a 64K ZX81. He says that “The Best of Sync ” by Creative Computing translates some of the early ZX80 programs to make them useful on the 2X81.
- K2MI — Marty says he has kept very busy after giving up QZX. He sent along some basic utility programs. He also said he had heard that NU4V (of CW program fame) is about to release a good RTTY send- receive program.
- W6AMW — Bob says he has purhased a Bug Byte modem for accessing Compuserve. He also sent in a net correction and an ad (see unclassifieds). 0E2ZDL — Jon (also K1US) says that QZX is his main source of information because he cannot hear the nets in Europe. However some European nets have been added to the directory.
- W6JEO — Carl asked for sample QZX issue some time ago, but it took the good review in 73 Magazine to get him to finally subscribe.
