Here are a few comments from Larry, AF8J to update last month’s review of the AF8J RTTY interface/program: Both the ASCIl & RTTY modes have become one 2K program, written in machine language, and allows switching between modes. There is now a silk screened & tinned PC board available for the interface that can be made into a complete terminal unit. By adding an optional circuit you can key your transmitter from the ZX/TS Keyboard. Program features include end of line look ahead, unshift on space, auto fig/ltrs, auto CR/LF, on screen mode reminder, and auto scroll. Due to the 2k restrictions, type ahead buffers were not possible, but this program runs on an unexpanded TS1000 and loads in just 33 seconds.

Next is a long overdue review of Scientific Software’s Disassembler (see unclassified ad, this issue). Sent to me by Stephen V. Rowson, who admits to being an electrical engineer, but is NOT a ham; he said he found QZX to be interesting. Anyhow, I put the tape in my ‘tape pile’ and thought I had put the manual in the QZX ‘pile’ for later review. Well I looked and looked for the manual and finally gave up the search.
