I can recommend the Bantam book (paperback, March 1983 @ $3.95) “Mastering Your Timex/Sinclair 1000 Personal Computer” by Tim Hartnell and Dilwyn Jones, If a convention were made that “A” is “Attracted”, “B” is “Beginner”, “C” is “Coming on well”, “D” is “Dependable” and “E” is “Elegant”, then this book is for A through B to most C. All the basic functions are covered clearly with good illustrative programs which work, and chapters on “Business Uses”, “Converting other BASICs”, and “Moving Graphics” are easy to refer to. Throughout there are useful tips on “How” and on style. At that price, what is there to lose?
