- 37 – W8FXZ/9 has an item concerning some Keyboard problems. When he had to replace a Keyboard he noticed that there are several. different membrane keyboard styles. His original did not have an exposed conductor once the end was broken off of the wires to the main circuit board. His suggestion in this case is a Berg 65801 – 005 (or -008 for pin) clamp-style connector. These clamp through the cable to make connection with the internal deposited conductor. The mating connector is just a row of #18 wires.
