JOYFU Or Find The Missing Construct JOYFU when sounded out means “Joyful, with no L” or as it is really supposed to be sounded out “Joyfull Noel.” The lack of an L turns one word into two. Language Design Principles Jon Bentley has been around computers for years, spending most of his time with AT&T Bell Labs (the birth place of Unix and C).
