Zebra Graphics

352 small pictures for Zebra Systems’ Greeting Card Designer, Banner Designer and Sign Designer programs. They come in themed sets of 32, each graphic saved under its own name, such as liberty.G, menorah.G or golfer.G, so that a whole set can be loaded into the design programs at once.

The download has the tape as ZebraGraphics.tap, which is in fact a TZX file, and an images folder with a PNG of each graphic.

Program Analysis

Every graphic is a 256-byte CODE block. Within each set of 32 the blocks are saved at consecutive addresses, 256 bytes apart, from 33024 up to 40960, so loading a whole set fills an 8K block of memory. The two Holidays sets, Jewish Holidays and Office each end with two entries whose names are blank, and the America set has two different lunar-module pictures, both named lem.G.

Potential Issues

• The America set is on the tape twice, byte for byte. The Animals and Christmas sets that were listed for this tape are not on it.
• The file is a TZX with a .tap name, so programs that expect a TAP file may refuse it.
