A tape of 48 black-and-white SCREEN$ pictures from the Chicago Area Timex Users Group (CATUG). The originals were RLE-compressed; here each picture is saved as a plain 6,144-byte bitmap with no colour attributes. There are portraits of film and television stars and other famous faces (among them Chaplin, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich, John Wayne, Laurel and Hardy, Mr. Spock, Max Headroom, Einstein, Shakespeare and Prince Philip), space pictures (the Lunar Module, the Mercury Seven, the Space Shuttle, Saturn from Voyager 2, Venus, the NASA emblem), and others: a TS2068 keyboard, a Ferrari, a tiger, a castle, a chess game, Scrooge, Escher’s Waterfall, and a set of wanted-poster portraits with text.
The download has one TAP per picture, named after its subject (for example Chaplin.tap, LEM.tap, TS2068.tap), and a PNG of each, converted with the inversion corrected, together with the script used to make the PNGs.
