# 2025 Vintage Computer Festival Midwest 20

[VCF Midwest 20](http://localhost/timex-sinclair/a-timex-sinclair-gathering-at-the-vintage-computer-festival-midwest-20/) drew what was likely the largest gathering of Timex/Sinclair enthusiasts in many years. More than a dozen members of the Timex/Sinclair Online User Group exhibited together in a coordinated display, and the group met new members at the show.

### What was exhibited

- **Carl Miles** — his recreated TS1510, the “1068” enhanced TS1000, and a Spectrum
- **Jeff Burrell** — the community’s re-imagined TS 2060 Bus Expansion Unit, with FPGA video modes and Raspberry Pi integration
- **David Green** — expansion devices, ROM cartridges, and 3D-printed replica cases
- **Mark Martin** — Sinclair QL variants, original and modern
- **Tim Horner** — a cross-translating keyboard adapter for the ZX81 and TS1000
- **Jeff Fetta** — a compact flash storage system and a recreation of the Zon-X sound board
- **Ingo Schmied** — the KiloZed, an enhanced ZX81/TS1000 with a full-sized keyboard
- **David Anderson** – Timex/Sinclair 1000, Timex/Sinclair 2068
- **Greg Bennett** – A demo of [Chris Seivey’s song Camouflage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camouflage_(Chris_Sievey_song)) synced to the ZX81 program
- **Stewart Newfeld** – books and other wares from Zebra Systems

### Also at the show

Carl Miles gave a presentation on the history of Sinclair and Timex/Sinclair computers.

[Evan Wright](http://localhost/indiv/evan-wright/), a text adventure developer and former Sinclair user, visited the display. He had attended a summer camp covered in an issue of *Timex Sinclair User* and appears in one of the photographs.
