Tools for speech and sound effects on the AY sound chip: AY-compensated 4-bit digitized audio, a 3-bit DPCM format, and harmonic synthesis with 60 Hz AY updates, with Z80 source. The TS2068 Audio Lab cartridge compares ten codecs across four samples.
