# FIDO – If it won’t sit up and beg, what can it do?

There’s a wide-flung network of Independent computer users stretching across the country. I’m talking about the confederation known as FIDO net. Im not an expert on FIDO net – far from it! In fact, I knew that it offered a way to get messages across the country overnight for 25 cents, but I still haven’t seen it working first-hand. In fact, I’m sure that most readers of this newsletter have heard of it, but haven’t gotten to know what exactly it is, or how it works.
