In 1984, I decided to upgrade to the QL, and I distinctly remember buying my first one from my good friend, [Bob Dyl](http://localhost/indiv/bob-dyl/), at the lofty price of $499.00. Two weeks later, the price plunged by $200. You’ll never live that one down, Bob!
