For those like me, who found the User Manual too often abstruse and lacking in detail, Mr. Eisenbacher has provided a veritable Rosetta Stone. Each chapter ends with a summary of the new words and concepts presented in that chapter, as well as some test questions (with the answers and explanations thoughtfully provided in an appendix) to help the reader assess his own comprehension of the material. Also included at the end of each chapter are so-called “interest stimulator” programs that bait the reader’s curiosity about Sinclair BASIC capabilities to be explained in the next chapter.
